Heal with nature: exercising body – mind


A new program was born at Quinta Mazatlan which is named Heal with nature. This exercise is of body – mind and is about incorporating yoga positions and moderate training for all levels of physical conditions.

The program is guided by the newest member of the Quinta Mazatlan personnel: Sabrina Lartz.

Lartz will lead participants through breathing exercises, yoga postures and meditation exercises. “Yoga has many health benefits, such as reducing stress, clear your mind, strength and tone up muscles,” Lartz said.

It is also an excellent way of exercise for people recovering from a surgery or injures, and incorporates exercises of interval to burn additional calories.

Lartz has a degree in wildlife and ecology management, she recently moved to the Rio Grande Valley from Florida, where she worked as environmental consultant. She has always kept a high level of physical condition and has been physical fitness and has been physical fitness instructor in McAllen before joining the team of Quinta Mazatlan.
