Second annual Rebel Fest: Star Wars


On May 4th will be take place the second annual event Rebel Fest, organized by the department of parks and recreation of the city of Brownsville together with Keep Brownsville Beautiful; the event will be starting at 6 pm and end at 10 pm, entrance is totally free.

If you are a Star Wars fan, you would not like to miss this great event, for second time, will take place at The Rec Center (Downtown Brownsville.) You could dress as any of your favorite characters from the movie, such as Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Yoda, Obi-Wan, princess Leia or the villain Darth Vader, this will give you the opportunity to participate to win prizes for the best costume.

Also, at the event, will be music, food and some games where you will have a pleasant time with other Star Wars fans. Projections are made of some of the films of the saga, during the screenings popcorn will be given or you can take your own snacks to enjoy with your family during the movies.

A family event that you would not miss if you are a Star Wars saga fan.
